Who supplies the trees? Our trees are supplied by LA CityPlants and LADWP. They provide LA residents with free trees for their homes. You can read more about their incredible program here.

Are you a city run program? No. TROOT is a private organization.

Who plants the trees? Our trees are planted by the wonderful members of LA Conservation Corps.

Can I adopt a tree if I don’t live in LA? No. Tree adoptions are only for those who live in the Los Angeles area and are able to water their adopted tree every week.

If I’m not in Los Angeles, how can I help? We have wonderful apparel available in our shop! All proceeds go back into TROOT. You can also share our story on social media. The more people who know about TROOT the better!

Can I volunteer? Right now we don’t have an volunteer opportunities available, however, please send us an email with your info and we will notify you when an opportunity becomes available!
