Schedule:

We recommend giving your tree its 10-15 gallons all at once — this ensures that the tree gets its full water for the week and also preps the tree for drought resistance.

However, if you and a neighbor have joint custody, you’re more than welcome to split up the watering to 2 times a week!

We just want to make sure our thirsty babies get their 10-15 gallons a week!

How to Water:

Slowly pour the water around the base of the tree, careful not to overflow it with a pool of water.

You’ll notice our trees have a layer of black fiber underneath the mulch. LA City is testing out a new “tree diaper” which helps the distribution of water to the roots of our 10 trees!
